Shimano has had 9T on their 9s for a while. Some people have run it with 10s... and I have made a 9T, 11s

It shouldn't be hard to make 9T, 12s, once the donor cassettes are available
You can't fit a 9t on a normal freehhub, so it would necessitate a swap such as to a xd that sram uses
