Quite true, albeit more importantly is the the above with the ti(y)re size also taken into consideration. Had a Dyno with a 700c x 28mm ti(y)re on it and am building up a Dyno now that will have a 26" x 54mm ti(y)re from Jan, the Rat Trap Pass. Taking the "true" diameters of both of those wheels, it becomes apparent that things are a bit closer than they initially seem.
