As others have said here, I'd strongly recommend swapping the chainring for a smaller one if possible. I'm running a 39t chainring with 12-32 cassette on my 1x commuter.
If that's not doable, then get freewheel/cassette with large teeth. I'd avoid the "megarange" freewheel because there's such a big jump between the 2nd-largest and largest gear, and I'm guessing you'll want to regularly use the lower end of your gearing range.
