My kid got a 12 speed on his new mountain bike. He almost immediately got a stick in the rear derailleur and we (and the bike shop people) were unable to bend it back into shape enough, so wound up having to replace it, due to the lower tolerance a 12-speed drivetrain has to imperfections (and probably the mushy flexible stuff SRAM uses to make components).
I think 12 speed (and probably anything over 9 speed) is too delicate (although I have been very lucky beating the crap out of my 11-speed Shimano Di2).
Is Fragilé the name for the new Campy groupset?
