I sometimes get zits in my groin area which are lumpy and painful. Infected hair follicles caused for some reason by wrong saddle shape. I finally found a saddle that doesn't cause the zits so it may just be a 'too much pressure in the wrong place' thing.
Get a mirror and check out what it looks like, zits are pretty easy to identify
