Ehhh...I would rather have lights I power myself. The Dynamo at least in modern language is a tourists best friend especially with all the devices people carry or just to have lights all day and night with no worries.

Charging batteries is fine if you are in areas with charging and not camping but I found on one of my tours that sitting by the bathroom charging devices just wasn't pleasant while my nice hammock beckoned me back!
