Get some handbuilt wheels either locally or online. There are plenty of options.
Wheel weight is most noticed when starting, so saving 100g is great to know as a gear junkie, but not wildly noticable when riding since it just doesnt affect riding a lot.

There are a handful of great 23mm wide rims which are 25-35mm deep. They cost $50-150 each. Some quality butted spokes and quality light hubs will be great.
