Digital, computer counts 'one' as the magnet passes by.. your input saying how big your wheel is is the way you get the accuracy.
If the program only takes nominal wheel / tire sizes, not measured out to the hundred thousandths of a inch or mm,
then the accuracy quest is moot ..
