Does anyone know if they are curved? Then the extra length wouldn't make any difference.
I use the Koolstop Thinline /dual Compound on my Miyata Two Ten. Happy with how they have performed.

I don't believe the Eagle II's are curved.

In my experience, length of the brake block does not make an appreciable difference; the effectiveness of the pads is more a function of the of the rubber compound used. However, check to make sure that the longer pads won't cause issues with running into the frame, etc. when they are mounted. Can still work if they do (since brake effectiveness only matters when the pads are against the rim), but setting them up could be a bit more of a pain if they are not able to return to their normal "at rest" position when not being activated.
