AFAIK, Litespeed built Merckx Ti frames to Merckx's specs and geometry. Your AX looks reminiscent of an LS Classic, and the down tube looks biaxially ovalized like some LS frames just before they started into all this "geometrically enhanced tubing" malarky. In any case - beautiful frame, and I imagine rides like a dream - Merckx frames were/are legendary for their long stage comfort.
