That's interesting. I just looked up the XC-279 and noticed that it doesn't appear to be tubeless-ready, either.

ISTR FBinNY posting once that spoke tension has always dropped a little with tires installed and pumped up, but people didn't notice it as much in the days before tensiometers.

Until and unless the tension drop or spoke noise prove to be actual problems, I wouldn't start nervously putting extra tension into them.
