Steve, you got it done with a 7 speed whereas I'm pushing the 120mm space to fit the six speed.

The 31t big cog (regina) is a fluke find but might be exact at the limit to my project.

Now for the compact crank, I think the Sugino XD600 is not quite vintage enough but what a beautiful and versatile piece. Even cooler for my project is tucking it in to use a 107mm bb. Chainline is perfecto.

The current big gear is for touring or atb but this bike went on a diet and know I would be spinning out. I somehow feel right at 90 r's so with that scenario, a 52t chairing has to somehow work.
