I've ordered stuff off Amazon Warehouse quite extensively before, VG condition generally means someone unpacked it, decided they didn't want it or it didn't fit, and sent it back. IME, they tend to under rate their goods if anything. Hope it works out for you though, if it was a 54 or 56 I'd have been all over it
