I've found that the full length like those pictured seem to keep my legs from getting tired as quickly. I typically train indoors 3-4 times monday through thursday, then work friday, saturday, and sunday nights as an RN (with an easy zone 1-2 spin before work if I have time). It may be all in my head but the compression seems to have my legs feeling more fresh monday afternoon when I get up. I wear them after training and often at work. For reference I'm a pretty healthy 35 year old CAT5 who started seriously training about 14 months ago. Hope this helps!
