No, I mean more along the lines of Breaking Bad. Most TV is terrible. But right now really good TV is better than movies IMO.
Saul is a good character, and Mike, and a couple new ones and a bunch of other BB characters.
The superhero thing drives me nuts - at some point, the bottom will fall out of the superhero market, and Hollywood will search for the next niche to exploit into oblivion. It's instructive to remember that a few decades ago, Americans couldn't get enough of westerns, and now the best way to ensure a movie flops is to make it a western (see the latest attempt with The Lone Ranger). Similarly, TV shows used to center primarily around rural characters and settings (Green Acres, Beverly Hillbillies, etc). This too shall pass.
