On the SL being later, that's what I thought too . Some one, maybe Vertyg?, said Stellas were SP in another thread. Interesting. Those are closer. And mine has powder coat plus a clear coat and I had to clean up a run in the powder coat of the seat tube.

The chart was labeled "late seventies". Don't know when Stella had the fire & shut down, most accounts just say "in the 70's", but I would guess (due to bike boom+ fire) most Stellas are more likely early 70's than late 70's. Looking forward to Bastille day.
