Last September I was riding my brand new R872 and on the first steep downhill (that I had been down many times previously on other bikes)resulted in a speed wobble and total loss of control.
I was fortunate to avoid hitting a car but despite trying to slow using the rear brake and altering my riding position I came off.
A case of not if but where to crash...
The end result was a 6 hour op, 2 weeks in hospital and 6 months off work.
I am still looking for answers as this is the first time I have experienced such a scary, uninitiated, unpredictable loss of control in 40 years of cycling.
