I am finally going to try tubeless. I am running Alexrims ATD 490 and Gravel King SK 700x38. The rims say "tubeless ready" but the Alexrim site does not say much nor using their "contact" link is workable. Do I need to use rim tape with these or is the beefy rim strip enough? I am planning on using Orange Seal Endurance and Orange Seal valve stems. I just do not know if I need the rim tape also. Has anyone set these rims up tubeless yet. Also, new (better) rims are not doable for a while. Kids in college, etc.
