I retired at 50 as well, 2 months into it, so far, happy as hell, hated my job for last ten years. My father retired at 50 due to heart attack, social security provided after that. I will not follow his foot-steps to heart attack. Comfortable with pension,
but life changes made it easier, am very busy with my woman and her honey-do lists. I am fortunate to have lifetime medical covered at set premium.
