The main beam is bent a couple of degrees up from vertical, but otherwise OK. Made a mess of that guy's grille, though....
I got lightly rear ended last fall WITH a bike on the rack. Saved my bumper from needing work! There are a few scrapes on the rack, nothing to worry me. I generally put my bike in the car though when it's just me or one other person, and one bike. Two bikes requires the rack.
