Sorry for resurrecting and hijacking an older thread. Did anyone here have had more experience with the Windsor?
I've been eying the Windsor Rapid Disc for my wife and wonder if people had good experience with it.
Does anyone know what handlebar size it has, if it is 31.8mm? The pictures on BD almost make it look like that. Does anyone know maximum tire size? The pictures of chainstay are not clear, ideally I can go up to 2" tires.

Only downside I see is that it has brake lever / shifter combo, which would require me to upgrade brakes and drivetrain together (not a really great concern, though)

She doesn't ride much (I want to change that) and I partially blame her crappy 26" FS Schwinn bike. I own a BD fatbike and am super happy, so I'm not opposed to online purchase. My original plan is/was to buy a used frame and install hydraulic discs and 1x11. But I have no luck sourcing a good used frame (hybrid disc frame = really rare). So the next best thing would be buying a good hybrid with a good frame and fork and over time upgrade as needed as she gets more into riding.
Just a comparison: the local coop sells a similar used hybrid with steel fork and used for $350+ tax. so buying a brand new BD bike with CF fork sounds like a good deal (as much as I would like to support coop). and CL and FB only have sellers that must smoke crack based on prices they ask for old bikes (and disc brake hybrids with rigid forks being nearly non-existent)
