I’ve noticed that using Strava on my Apple Watch to measure heart rate uses the battery at an high rate. I estimate that my average 40 minutes commute uses about 12% of the charge from full, so at least 15% per hour.
In comparison, the built-in Outdoor Cycling Workout, only used about 3% of the charge for the same route.
I was wondering whether anyone has compared the battery usage of different cycling apps on both the Apple Watch or the iPhone?
