That's what i was afraid of my budget is roughly 1300, ideally less so I can afford some bags and racks for my tour later this summer. My budget firmly places All-City out of reach unless I shop around for an older nature boy or something. The Jamis Renegade looks to be roughly the same as the Kona Rove I was looking at. The look I'm going for is "country bike" a-la Rivendell but lugs are out of my budget. I think I've narrowed it down to a 2014 Fairdale weekender provided the one they have is my size. Comparing geo charts, the geometry is almost identical to the Kona Rove but it comes with swept back bars and a 1x9 drive train which is more than I'll probably ever need coming from my fixed gear bikes.
