Fixturing in support of attaching the horns to the stem anchor plate required some head scratching. This is what I came up with. The fork assy is in the vise jaws. Fiddle but it worked perfectly.


Initial test fit.the fork backing plate will be lightened (holes) and a full width stiffener will be mounted on the inside of the bag and bolted to the fork backing plate. Tube ends will be sealed. Not finished but good for a half days work.
Now that's the kind of simple, elegant design I would like!
