It is concerning how many of those bicycle helmets are cracked. I hope I never hit my head to the point of a helmet cracking on my head.
When a helmet cracks, it’s like the crumple zone of a car. That’s how it absorbs the energy of the hit. Cracked helmets are a good thing.
