The Pearson-Atrastradero Preserve has some nice trails as well in Palo Alto, right off I-280 South. I've been there quite a few times and I still have yet to climb up and down all those paths there. There's a parking lot right off Arastradero Road, but it does get filled up because of other people, but it's definitely very nice. I always spend at least 2-3 hours minimum out there enjoying the sunshine.
