It's funny (my feelings, not the article). Before I started using my bike as my primary means of transportation (would be my only were it not for the 47 mile commute down 95 to school), driving already got my blood pressure up. Now that I'm used to being on a bike it makes me doubly furious. Maybe even triply. Not only am I further enraged by all of the bike unfriendly actions that I see, but I'm resentful that I have to be in a car in the first place. On the up side, it makes me appreciate my bike travels even more by contrast. When I'm pedaling I'm happy...maybe even serene (though certainly focused and on guard...and well lit if it happens to be nighttime) as opposed to being uptight and anxious when I'm moving in my high speed metal coffin.
