Yes and yes...
The zeros have walkable cleats have covers that don't come off and get lost (unlike Kleat Kovers that always do).
AFAIK Speedplay has yet to give the same treatment to the X pedals, which is rather dumb IMHO...they're also adjustable down to whatever spec you want WRT release angle. They're much better with power transfer if you lock-in the heel-in/out compared to the angular slop of the X.
