My cycling fashion choices are usually dictated by what's randomly on top in my cycling drawer. Sometimes it's been all solid black, plus black socks and black shoes. The helmet is black and grey. It probably does look ridiculous, especially if I'm on my black bike, I never really thought much about it. I can say though that it doesn't feel any hotter to me than other colors, and any difference in visibility is slight enough that I've never noticed.
