But yes 100% this. People ask what Addiction is about and its about people interacting as if the person on the opposite end of the post is another human being that they "know". It makes the conversation feel much more like a real relationship unlike much of the rest of BF . . . . Gets tedious in exactly the same way a yappy ankle-biting dog is tedious.

I used to wonder why so many newbs had trouble understanding what Addiction was all about, and why so many "regulars" avoided Addiction like the plague. One day it occurred to me . . . it wouldn't be as nice if they were all here anyway.
