I was bummed when I dropped the fork on my then favorite road bike to find a seamed head tube. Not a biggie, but made one wonder what other falsehoods lurked… Nervor steerer was found too. So it goes.

Seat stays are probably the least important pair of tubes in a bike frame. I can see making a case for chain stays.
