These are I think 28F/32R, so not sure what you're comparing to. FWIW, a wheel consists of spokes and rims.. so you can have combos of the below qualities.. spoke count all by itself really doesn't mean a lot. Eg, not recommending for you, but a fulcrum3 wheel is rated for up to a 240lb rider and is only 16/21 spoked.

Strong/stiff rims + strong stiff spokes
Weakass rims + weakass spokes
Strong rims + weak spokes
Weak Rims + strong spokes
