My XTR trail pedals creak more than the A600 unless I put some wax (or Squirt) on the platforms. It is the interface, not the pedal internals, if that is any consolation.

Having said that, the XTR pedals are great. The non-trail ones don't have the creaking problem, FWIW.

The Xpedo look like some serious iCandy, but if you busted the Ritchey pedals, probably best to avoid the titanium spindles in favor of Cr/Mb steel.

I bought some Ritchey mountain pedals for another bike, but they tried to kill me. I put them back in the box, but managed to scratch one while trying to multi-click escape, so couldn't return them. I was happy not to have re-broke my ankle.
