It was pretty overcast yesterday, just about to rain, when I went down my half mile stretch of the Delaware and Raritan canal. This is in the Trenton suburbs, barely a hundred yards from Route One, car dealers, Jiffy Lube, convenience stores, etc. Several guys fishing.
And a beaver munching on greens at the side of the canal. Not sure if he saw me, or just wasn't bothered. I saw this critter a few months ago, but not since then. I guess he travels up and down the canal.
