I have this bike, it lacks many components but actually I am going to restore that guy with a new groupset! I am very surprised by the 9,3kg though, from what I remember it was more like a 10/11kg bike (maybe it's because I have it in size 57 or 58). I can't weight it for the moment as now i'm living abroad, but I don't think it really matters anyway!
I really can't find anything on the internet about that bike appart from your post! I even found the peugeot magasines of that time, they sell like the professionnal 1000 or alu chrono 3000 but I can't find the chrono 1000, would have been nice to read what they had to say about it 22 years ago.
