A good pair of wheel and tires will make a difference. Changing the crank won't do much for the ride unless you think it's ugly. The State looks like a decent commuter bike, have fun!
A good wheelset will be the next thing I buy. I guess I just mean the chainring. But those Andel cranks that already come with a ring look pretty tempting. The current chainring could be much rounder.
Sounds like I can't go wrong with a set of H+ Son with decent hubs so I'll be on the lookout for those.
