Bikes: A bunch of old bikes and a few new ones

This is an old but useful thread. I am looking at a bike with 26 x 1 and 1/4 wheels and it looks as if rims and tires are rare but it will be easy enough to convert to 26 x 1 and 3/8 (from 597 to 590). That looks to e the most straightforward solution. Nothing like buying an old project that needs new wheels, : )
