73F and 72 dew point makes for a pretty humid ride. My shirt felt like it was plastered to my back. Fun enough ride though. I paused on the MUP to check out the creek that is running much higher than normal. We have had a lot of rain for about 2 weeks now.
NC mountains are feeling the major amounts rain too. Mudslides have part of I-40 closed. And now they are evacuating communities and campgrounds downstream from Lake Tahoma, a small mountain lake whose dam may fail after a mudslide.
