I just found this out, news from my hometown (Rochester, NY). Michael Carnahan, the 1970 National Senior Road Champion passed away in early May. When I was racing in the mid 70's he helped us young guys out with training rides. Our club was the Genesee Valley Cycling Club, it was great to have a recent Champion as a member!

That year (1970) the races were held in Central Park in NYC.
