19.1 miles (30.7k). Dr. visit Wed revealed that both kidneys are bad, not just the one (I didn't know that) and they will not get any better. However, we can keep them from getting any worse (in theory). More infusion treatments in October. The Epogen (one belly shot per week—to raise hemoglobin count) takes about 4 weeks to show signs of increased count, it's been just over two weeks and is up only point 3 to 7.9 (normal is 13 and up). Target is 11. So I can still ride and carry on a mostly normal life. Dialysis may be in my future (DOA!)
