I always worry with a tripod if they would be tippy, though these do allow for adjustment to keep the arms as low as you can and thus keep the center of gravity as low as possible and then there is the option of adding a 5-10lb plate weight/bags of bird shot over the legs or at their ends (have had to do this with some stereo speakers that were tippy even with outriggers at their base). They are also quite nice looking too.
I have been using one of these inside my home for about 4 years now. No concerns about being tippy even when I had a relativity heavy mountain bike on top rack. The middle leg extends straight out from the front so it wont topple over. The other 2 legs are angled in such a way that it allows it to get close to a wall but provides adequate support when loaded.
