I was looking at bar ends, but then decided to narrow my handlebars instead. That, and padded short-finger cycling gloves, has made me give up on the idea, at least for now. I can use the grips, or move inboard and hold the gear/brake clusters comfortably. If I were to go to bar ends, looking at how I move my hands around on the bars they'd probably be fitted inboard rather than at the bar ends.
