On a motorcycle skidding the front wheel is fairly easy. But on a bicycle much more "involved". The closest I've gotten a couple of times is to end up with what I'd call "hopping" the front tire while it was locked up, once was as I entered a corner. The other time I was avoiding a car and so was also likely turning to a degree but I wasn't really sure. Both times I didn't go down or end up in trouble, how I'm still not sure how. Andy (who has gone over the bars too many times "learning" ft brake use)
