Do you prefer a reflective white stripe or not? Many Schwalbes, which are usually good tires, come with that reflective stripe -- just something to be aware of. One Schwalbe I like, and with which I have personal experience, is the Little Big Ben, in 700x38 (also marked 40-622, but it's the same tire). It's lighter and, from what I understand, more supple than the Marathon (better ride). I have a pair that I've used on various bikes in my fleet, and they're currently on my wife's Trek hybrid.

The Panaracer Pasela PT is supposed to be a fantastic tire. They come in a very attractive tan/gum wall design, and they're noted to be one of the better riding tires you can buy. These may look out of place on your Cypress, or they might look really nice on it; it probably depends on the color scheme. I think they may also be available in blackwall, but I'm not sure.
