Saturday - Legs tired after the last week of 195 miles. So I decided to see if they could knock out another 50 miles today. So I took out the very comfortable, 29 year old, Greg Lemond Ventoux. First 18 miles saw about 1000 ft of climbing as well as a slipping rear wheel. Someone (me) hadn't tightened the QR right last time they had the rear wheel off. Took me a few minutes to realize the tire was rubbing, thought I was just really tired. Then I had another 17 miles of good riding until 20-30 mph winds came in. Knocked me around pretty good for awhile but when at my back it was great. Finished up right over 50 miles.

So little snow on the Mts, going to be a dry summer

Hay making time

Love the smell of the cut hay, takes me back to the years on the farm making hay all summer long.

The Greg Lemond Ventoux in action, or is that resting from the action?

There's a whole world of wilderness beyond these hills.

Hills are to brown for this early in the year.

Greener to the north.

A bit hazy today, normally clearer.

Typical ranch entrance
