Saturday morning "small" group ride around my usual training route, 2 laps totaling 37.4km. I was expecting a relatively easy ride, so I rode my Dahon mini-velo for an "extra shot"..... but there was an unexpectedly large turnout with several strong riders joining. Suffice to say, it was a particularly hard-paced workout for me!
Sunday joined a fast group some hill-climbing, going over a hill and then back home the same way in reverse. 113.9km with 1172m elevation. The gradient was mostly light and steady except for a short double-digit segment, but the main group head powering up at 25-30km/h I could only keep up with them for a bit before I ended up falling back to the rest of the "not-so-crazy-fast" members. Road conditions downhill weren't that great though, so the descents weren't as fun as they could have been.
