Yeah, I just don't think the smaller 30mm spindle bearings last as long as the chunkier bearings a 24mm spindle would allow. As far as gripes go, it's relatively minor, I guess. I bet I can live with this, too:
So I guess it's all down to what other bits to build around that sweet 30/46 crankset. I might still go SRAM apex 2x10 so I can get to 11-36 in the back; It is still just a PITA to go 2x11 and get to 36 (unless you're willing to go Shimano and ignore the 34t maximum for their current-gen long cage RDs, at least the new ultegra will have a clutch, I guess, but I hate those hoods so damn much.)
