I think I've got you beat.
1. I was building up my Maza. Everything was new or NOS. When making the final adjustment to the headset, I dropped one wrench and chipped the paint on the top tube.
2. I just finished a new build on a red Pinarello. I propped it up outside (windy day), turned around to get my camera and the bike was on the ground (concrete). I wasn't too bad. I scuffed the new Brooks Pro and the handlebar tape.
3. I was on the maiden ride on my Guerciotti PRX and about 5 miles into the ride, I kicked up a steel "whisker" from a street-sweepers brush. It got into my rear spokes and scraped a line of paint about 1/8" X 1" off both seat stays. The color was purple starburst and impossible to match.
Well, I'm through buying and building new bikes. I have enough "rides" to last the rest of my life.
