And they are real easy to put in. I rode with one of my brifters missing the cap(I had tape over it) due to a crash until 1.5 years I got tired of staring at the unsightly tape. Went in to the bike shop expecting to have to purchase a new shifter and found out that all I was missing was a 10$ part.
