I am running 28mm tires. I usually start a commute week or a rec ride (aiming for 40+ miles) pumping them up to 80. Sometimes (like this week, after not riding since last Wednesday) it was at 40 in the garage but usually it's maybe just a bit softer than 80 (I do a squeeze test) and I don't pump up before any but long rec rides. This year I may have been super lucky where I didn't even notice any punctures, they just sealed asap. In the past I have trailed a spinning rooster tail of sealant until it takes. I have just about never had to stop and pump the tire up after it seals.
